BROOKSVILLE and ELLSWORTH – Ernest A. Chase, 94, died Jan. 14, 2007, in Ellsworth. He was born June 28, 1912, in Meredith, N.H., the son of Arnold and Josephine Chase. He was predeceased by his wife, Marie T. Chase; one son, Robert M. Chase; one daughter, JoAnn Chase. He is survived by three sons, Frederick A. Chase of Sedwick, Michael E. Chase of Virginia and Charles S. Chase of Brooksville; one daughter, Pamela J. Lounder of Franklin; one special granddaughter, Amy of Searsport; many loved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all who came in touch with him. A celebration of his life will be held 9 a.m.-noon Sunday, Feb. 11, at the Bucksport Bowling Center, Bucksport. For more information call Fred Chase.
