SACO – Ernest L. Taylor, 53 of Taylor Lane and Elm Street, Biddeford, Pem-broke, died Tuesday morn-ing at Evergeen Manor in Saco. He was born Oct. 30, 1951, in Pembroke, the son of Burlington and Josephine Robinson Taylor. He attended Pembroke schools and then served in the Marine Corps. For many years he worked for Carl Subler Trucking Co., Nike and later for West Point Stevens as a machine operator. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and gardening. Survivors include his mother, Josephine Libby of Rockland, Mass.; one son, John Taylor of Saco; one daughter, Jennifer Taylor of Biddeford; two brothers, Robert and Stephen Taylor of Pembroke; three sisters, Barbara Rice of Eastport, Sarah Newell of Princeton, and Flora Poulin of Minot; and two grandchildren. Visiting hours are to be held 10-11 a.m. Friday at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, 365 Main St., Saco, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. with Father Matthew officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Pembroke.
