FORT MYERS, Fla. – Errol F. Boober Sr., 55, died Feb. 27, 2005. He was born in Lincoln, a son of the late Leslie W. Boober and Eva L. Boober. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Army flying helicopters. He was wounded several times receiving the Purple Heart four times. He was a self-employed insurance adjuster and worked all over the world. Errol attended McGregor Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, traveling and loved his grandchildren. Mr. Boober is survived by his wife, Diana Krueger; his mother, Eva L. Boober of Port Charlotte, Fla.; his children Errol F. Boober Jr., Valeria A. Boober, Erika (Michael) Ryan, Eryn (Michelle) Boober, Christopher Boober, all of Georgia, Jared Boober of Fort Myers, Fla.; his stepchildren, Lara (Timothy) Worden of North Carolina, David Anderson of Fort Myers, Fla., his brother, Roger Boober of Connecticut; and sister, Eva Lebaron of Connecticut; and 12 grandchildren. A memorial funeral service celebrating his life will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 1-2 p.m at the funeral home.
