CALAIS – Estella Phoebe Farnham, 97, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007, at Calais Regional Hospital. Estella was born Sept. 22, 1910, in Harvey, New Brunswick, the daughter of the late Thomas and Ada (Golding) Harris. She was a member of Vanceboro Methodist Church and enjoyed traveling and knitting. Estella was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Farnham; five sisters and three brothers. Surviving are her children, Aleta Fitzgerald of Providence, R.I., Dorothy Brooks and her husband, Delmer, of Stewiacke, Nova Scotia, Thomas Farnham and his wife, Andrea, of Calais, Priscilla Harrison of Summerfield, Fla., and Bonita Wagner of Farmington; 21 grandchildren, 36 great-grand-children, three great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Estella’s life will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Vanceboro Methodist Church, High Street, Vanceboro. Burial will be held after at Vanceboro Cemetery.
