LINCOLN – Esther Grace Berry, 75, wife of Ralph Berry, died April 18, 2004, at a Lincoln healthcare facility. She was born April 3, 1929, in Hamilton, Pa., the daughter of Enos Brecker Brechill and Mary Anna (Beltz) Brechill. Esther was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She and Ralph enjoyed going camping, and they made several trips to Pennsylvania. She was a member of the Cardville United Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed going to church and the companionship of the ladies of the church. In addition to her husband, Ralph, she is survived by two sons, David Gagnon of Florida, and Robert Gagnon of Oklahoma; two daughters, Beverly McIntyre of Lincoln, and Darcas Bennett of Old Town; a stepson, Matthew Berry of Howland; five siblings, Nancy Burley, Junior Brechill and Paul Brechill, all of Pennsylvania, Cora Cook and Ruth Smith, both of Ohio; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. William R. Roix officiating. Interment will be in Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be left at the funeral home.
