BELFAST – Esther Marguerite (Holse) Feichter, 89, passed away peacefully Sept. 29, 2007, at Harbor Hill nursing facility. She was born Jan. 13, 1918, in Centerville, S.D., the daughter of Rudolf and Oline (Borring) Holse. Esther lived most of her life in Indiana before moving to Northport to make her home with her daughter and son-in-law, Peg and Joe Moser. Esther was a veteran of World War II and an accountant for most of her life. She enjoyed her close knit family, her church, gardening, crafts and her Danish heritage. Esther was predeceased by her husband, LeVerne Kenneth Feichter, December 2000. She is survived by her daughter, the Rev. Peg Moser and her husband, Joseph Moser Sr., of Northport; her son, Larry Kenneth Feichter of New Haven, Ind.; two brothers, Robert Holse of Auburn, Ind., and Jack Holse of Rochester, Ind.; two grandsons, Jody Moser of Evanston, Ill., and Joel Moser of Portland; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, at Belfast United Methodist Church, 23 Mill Lane, Belfast, with the Rev. Dr. Larry LaPierre officiating. Interment will be at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, Ind.
