DOVER-FOXCROFT – Ethel Louise Duff, 72, passed away peacefully March 3, 2005, at her daughter’s residence in Pittsfield. She was born Nov. 20, 1932, in Limestone, the daughter of Hollis “Jack” and Gladys Hazel (Carson) Bolstridge. She started a career as a CNA at Pleasant Hill Nursing Home in Fairfield. In 1986, she moved back to Dover-Foxcroft and continued as a CNA at Hibbard Nursing Home, until her retirement in 1999. She attended the Dover-Foxcroft Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by two daughters, Ressie McLeish and her husband, David, of Newport, and their children, David, LaDawna and Darolyn; Wanda Smith and her husband, Dan, of Pittsfield, and their children, Jack, Deeanna and Daniel; one son, Floyd Duff Jr. and his wife, Naomi, and their children, Ryan and Susan; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nellie Labbe of Caribou and Pearline Rowe and her husband, Bill, of Sangerville; several special nieces and nephews and many special friends. Friends are invited to call from 1 p.m. until time of memorial service at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2005, at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft, with Pastor Craig Taylor officiating.
