LINCOLN – Eugene M. Theriault, 69, husband of Ann (Quint) Theriault, died Sept. 5, 2006, at a Bangor health care facility. He was born Aug. 30, 1937, in East Millinocket, the son of Ernest and Mary (Rioux) Theriault. Eugene worked at Great Northern Paper Company for nine years before moving to Bridgeport, Conn., where he worked at Raybestos Brake for 10 years. He then moved back to Maine and again worked at Great Northern until his retirement in 1994. He was a major Red Sox fan, loved gardening, and enjoyed fishing and hunting and hanging out with his very good friend, Bob Montgomery. In addition to his mother and his wife, he is survived by four children, Rena Blanchard and her husband, David, of Liberty, Nathan Theriault of Chelsea, Paul Theriault and Janet Theriault of Millinocket; three grandchildren, Stefanie, Zachary and Nicholas Blanchard; a brother, Alfred Theriault and his wife, Ella, of East Millinocket; and a sister, Rena Miller and her husband, Maynard, of Hampden. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church, with pastor, Rev. Roger Cyr presiding. Interment will be at South Lincoln Cemetery.
