BUCKSPORT – Eugene W. Sherburne II, 46, died Nov. 8, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. He was born June 15, 1960, in Bangor, the son of Eugene W. and Rita A. (Bartlett) Sherburne. Eugene was an avid outdoorsman and sports fan, loved to hunt, fish, go four-wheeling, boating and his vegetable garden. Mr. Sherburne worked at the Best Western-Jed Prouty Motel Inn, Bucksport, for the last nine years. He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Dorothy Ann Sherburne; and beloved daughters, Tricia, April and Lilly, all of Bucksport; five sisters, Lisa Dempsey and her husband, Robert, of Otis, Sue Belanger and her husband, Lee, of Waterville, Stephanie Brewer and her husband, Lynwood, of Auburndale, Fla., Teresa Knotts and her husband, Bill, of Fairfield and Jackie Madore and her husband, Nathan, of Waterville; 11 nieces, nephews and several cousins. He was predeceased by his parents; and one sister, Paula. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, at Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 28 Elm St., Bucksport, with the Rev. Linda Smith officiating. Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Donations in his memory may be made to the Maine Youth Fish and Game Association, P.O.
