BREWER – Eva Ann (Baywood) Laliberte, 83, wife of the late Roger W. Laliberte, of Brewer died March 15, 2005, at a Bangor health care center. She was born Sept. 12, 1921, in Rumford, the daughter of Anthony and Ona Baywood. Eva graduated from Steven High School in 1940, in 1951 she and her husband moved to Laconia, N.H. and in 1957 they moved to Brewer. Mrs. Laliberte worked as the head of the ladies foundations department at Freeses Department Store until they closed in the mid 1980’s. Upon retirement, she lived the remainder of her years at her home in Brewer. She was a member of St. Teresa’s Catholic Church and a former member of The Daughters of Isabella. Mrs. Laliberte is survived by her two sons, Robert L. Laliberte and his wife, Patti, of Lavonia, Mich.; his two daughters, Laurette and Michelle, and their six children of Virginia Beach, Va.; and son Rick Laliberte and his wife, Anne Marie, of Orlando, Fla. and their two daughters, Nichole of Fort Collins, Colo., Natalie of Long Branch, N.J.; and a cousin, Gus Lukauskas of Easton, Pa. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2005, at Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer, where The Daughters of Isabella will be reciting the Rosary at 6:30 p.m., as requested by the family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church, with the Rev. Joel Cyr, celebrant. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Bangor.
