FARMINGTON and BANGOR Pauline “Polly” Farrington, 78, died March 18, 2005, at The Maine Veteran’s Home in Bangor, after a very long struggle with diabetes and alzheimers. She was born July 1, 1926, in Farmington the daughter of Nancy and Guy Howard. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Henry A. Farrington Jr.; a cousin, William “Bill” Collins of Maryland; a special niece, Dodi Reynolds of Jay, several other nieces and nephews. Plus many dear friends. Polly was predeceased by her parents of Farmington, four brothers and three sisters. Henry would like to thank the Maine Veteran’s Home for their excellent care of Polly during her stay. It takes special people to do what they do every day. Services will be at a later date and burial will be at Lawndale Cemetery, Old Town. Cremation arrangements by Cremation Basics, Inc., Bangor.
