BANGOR – Eva Coleen Nelligan, 76, died Nov. 24, 2005, at a Bangor hospital, with her loving husband, Jim, at her side. She was born July 20, 1929, in Hume, Mo., daughter of Orville H. and Mildred R. (Flesher) Cline. Eva attended Amos School through grade school, the school built and donated by her grandfather, William Flesher, and attended two years of high school in Hume, Mo. The Cline’s then moved to Wyoming and she attended Powell schools, later returning to Missouri, living several years with her aunt in Webb City. After working in Joplin for several years she moved to Sunny, Calif. to work. She was employed for many years by the Navy Exchange System in Hawaii-Midway Island and China Lake San Diego and later Virginia Beach, Va. Surviving in addition to her husband, James L. Nelligan of Bangor; are one daughter, Dorcie; three grandsons, one great- grandson; one sister, Darlene Morrison of Powell, Wyo.; a brother, Roy Cline and his wife, Cyrol, of Bellevue, Wash.; a sister-in-law, Sally Nelligan of Red Beach; many nieces and nephews of Maine, Washington, Wyoming and Connecticut; and one special friend, Elaine Sellers of San Diego, Calif. She will be missed by friends she has met throughout the USA. Eva was predeceased by her mother, Mildred, in 1945; and her father, Orville, in 1983; and a special aunt, Eva Fly, in 1993.
