ELLSWORTH – Bertrand J. Poulin, 83, died Nov. 22, 2005, at an Ellsworth healthcare facility. He was born Sept. 2, 1922, in Beausville, Canada, the son of Omer and Athala (Doyon) Poulin. Bertrand was a veteran of World War II serving in England, France and Belgium. He was a veteran of Foreign Wars and received numerous decorations and citations. He is survived by a son, Paul Poulin and his wife, Cheryl, of Gray; granddaughter, Amy; and a brother, Clement Poulin of Old Lyme, Conn. He was predeceased by his wife, Hazel in 2005; a daughter, Anne Marie; sisters, Mary Tardiff and Alice Proulx; brothers, Leon and Fred Poulin. A graveside service will be held noon, Nov. 29, at the Mount Vernon Maine Veterans’ Cemetery, Augusta. Arrangements by Jordan-Fernald, 141 South St., Blue Hill.
