BANGOR – Evelyn M. Jackson, 93, passed away Feb. 29, 2008, at a Bangor nursing facility. She was born July 5, 1914, the daughter of Emily (Parent) and Andrew Violette. She was predeceased by her husband, Maurice Jackson. Evelyn is survived by her sister, Mabel Guth of Old Bridge, N.J.; two daughters, Linda McHugh and her husband, Bob, of Mount Dora, Fla., and Nancy Girouard and her husband, Henry, of Somers, Conn.; and two sons, Larry Littlefield and his wife, Valerie, of Orrington, and Alan Littlefield and his wife, Gloria, of Standish. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Marie, Cheryl, Robert, Steven, Corinna, David, Elise, Sara and Andrea; and 12 great-grandchildren. A Mass will be held 9 a.m. Friday, March 7, at Holy Family Parish Church. Burial will be held in the spring. Services entrusted to the care of Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town.
