BANGOR – A service to celebrate Irving Vaughn Joy III’s life will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, with the Rev. Dr. Rex H. Garrett, director of chaplaincy services at Eastern Maine Medical Center and the Rev. Kathy Macedo, pastor of Grace United Methodist Church of Bangor, officiating. Spring interment will be held at Marston Cemetery, Orrington. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments immediately after the service at Brookings-Smith Family Center, 163 Center St., Bangor.
