HERMON and SAINT FRANCIS – Evelyn (Pelletier) Rosenthal, 90, died Jan. 20, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Aug. 28, 1915, at Saint Francis, a daughter of Belone and Mary (Jandreau) Pelletier. Evelyn retired as a restaurant cashier in Massachusetts. She was a communicant of St. Agnes Parish in Pittsfield. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry, in 1987. Evelyn is survived by a daughter, Linda and husband, Murray Thibodeau, of Newport; five brothers, Lawrence Pelletier of Addison, Rudolph Pelletier of Saint Francis, Bertrand Pelletier of Fort Fairfield, Roderick Pelletier of Westdale, N.Y. and Carroll Pelletier of New Britain, Conn.; and a sister, Greta Pelletier, also of New Britain, Conn.; two grandchildren, Gregory Thibodeau of Newport and his companion, Patty Gibbons and Dina McCarthy of Connecticut; four great-grandchildren, Connor and Kayleigh McCarthy, Dustin and Tiffany Thibodeau. She was predeceased by a brother, Adjitor Pelletier; and three sisters, Muriel Caron, Pearl O’Leary and Fern Levesque. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, at Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, 9 East Main St., Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Charles Catholic Church in Saint Francis, with the Rev. Fr. James Nadeau, officiating.
