CARIBOU – Evelyn M. Shea, 74, died Nov. 26, 2005, at Caribou. She was born Jan. 9, 1931, in Maria, Quebec, Canada, the daughter of Lawrence and Evelyn (Leveigne) Gedeon. Evelyn was employed in the food industry for many years. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Henry B. Pratt Post No. 15 American Legion. She is survived by two sons, Eldon Espling of New Sweden and Roger Espling of Manchester, N.H.; one daughter, Barbara Hunt of Fort Fairfield; five sisters, Mary Adelaide Childers of Manchester, N.H., Edna Thomas of Campbellton, N.B., Canada, Margaret Johnson of Westmanland, Lorraine Thibeault of Candia, N.H. and Karry Leighton of Arizona; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred Daniel Shea; a daughter, Elaine; four brothers, Frank, Eldon, Victor and Arnold; three sisters, Beatrice, Opal and Marina; one grandchild, Anna-Marie Espling; and by a very special friend, Alwin Espling.
