COLUMBIA FALLS – Everett “Bill” I. Foster Jr., 63, of Columbia Falls died Saturday, April 29, 2006, at a Bangor Hospital after a sudden illness. He was born April 13, 1943, in Centerville, the son of the late Everett and Nora (Flaherty) Foster Sr. Mr. Foster attended school in Centerville and graduated from Columbia Falls High School in 1961. He worked at Shoreline Industries in Madison, Conn. for many years. Moving back to Columbia Falls, he was a truck driver delivering seafood to area restaurants in New York, New Jersey, Boston, Mass. and several other areas. Mr. Foster was employed at the Bucks Harbor Correctional Facility for three years as a correctional officer. He was an avid collector of older automobiles from the mid 1960’s. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. Foster enjoyed singing and playing the guitar to his children and grandchildren. He shared 44 years of marriage with Pameila (Bagley) Foster of Columbia Falls. In addition to his wife, family members include his three children, Michael Foster of Bar Harbor, Nora Stanley and her husband, Matthew, of Gouldsboro, Lee Foster and his wife, Mary, of Hampden; two grandchildren, Ashlee Fountaine and her husband, Joseph, of Cherryfield, Nathan Stanley of Gouldsboro; one great-grand-daughter, Teiya Fountaine of Cherryfield; one brother, Allan Foster of Bradley; and one sister, Vera Mitchell of Brewer; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Cecil Foster. Services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Columbia Falls United Methodist Church, Church Hill Circle, Columbia Falls. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Milbridge.
