BROOKSVILLE – Everett L. Steele, 71, died Saturday, April 3, 2004. He was born April 4, 1933, the son of Carl and Bernice Steele. Everett served in the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion, and the troop greeters, greeting the many troops. He is survived by his children, David and Timothy of Long Island, N.Y.; and daughter, Jennifer of Brooksville; and his three brothers, Philip of Brooksville, Ronald of Lewiston, and Robert of Colorado; and one sister, Frances of Michigan; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews; as well as several great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; a sister, Carol; and brother, Wilfred. A military service will be held at a later date. Friends who wish to contribute in memory of Everett may do so to the charity of one’s choice.
