MILBRIDGE and CHERRYFIELD – Everett L. “Subby” Morse, 83, of Milbridge, formerly of Cherryfield, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, at a Milbridge health care facility. He was born Dec. 16, 1924, in Machiasport, the son of the late Harry and Irene (Randall) Morse. Subby liked to be outside watching the animals and he liked being on the blueberry grounds. He was one of the original “Ridge Runners” of Cherryfield. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends from the “Ridge.” He was predeceased by four brothers, Ernest, Philip, Lewis and Ezra; and by four sisters, Emma, Marion, Marguerite and Lottie. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Narraguagus Bay Healthcare Facility, Milbridge, for their years of support and care towards Everett. Graveside services will be held at Morse Cemetery, Cherryfield, in the spring. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
