LINCOLN – F. Robert “Bob” Hall, 91, husband of the late Viola (Phinney) Hall, died Dec. 20, 2007, at a Lincoln health care facility. He was born Nov. 29, 1916, in Springfield, Mass., the son of Francis “Frank” and Dorothy (Sawtell) Hall. A graduate of Mattanawcook Academy, Bob worked in Lincoln for many years as a mechanic and welder for Smart’s. He was a member of Horeb Lodge No. 93 AF & AM, Lincoln and Lincoln United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife of 68 years, Viola, he was predeceased by his parents; and two brothers, Frederick and Douglas. He is survived by three sons, David Hall of Lincoln, Bruce Hall and his wife, Rhonda, of Sutton, Mass., and Brian Hall and his wife, Shannon, of Enfield; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; a close niece, Christine Harlan and her husband, Jim, of New Jersey; many special nieces and nephews.
