HOULTON – Faye Alexander Dobbins, 92, was called home to the Lord April 16, 2005. She was born Sept. 21, 1912, at Dyer Brook, the daughter of Thomas and Cora Alexander. Faye is survived by two daughters, Linda Doody and her husband, Rodney, of Fort Fairfield, Charlene Stinson and her husband, Mike, of Moreno Valley, Calif.; one son, William Dobbins and his wife, Wilma, of Hodgdon; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, several nieces and nephews, one special niece, Ann Dawson of Dexter. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, John Dobbins in 1977; and her daughter, Beverly Hughes in 2004. At Faye’s request there will be no visiting hours. A private family service will be held at a later date. A service of Dunn Funeral Home.
