INDIAN ORCHARD, Mass. Faye Elizabeth (Currier) Moro, 68, died Nov. 28, 2007, surrounded by her loving family at Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Bangor to the late George and Edna Currier. She graduated from Bangor High School. She married the late Robert J. Moro in 1959 and had five boys over the next 10 years. Over the next 20 years, she traveled extensively as a military spouse, making a loving home for her family in such far off places as Fort Davis, Panama, and Tehran, Iran. She endured a separation while her husband was deployed to Vietnam. She relocated to Ludlow, Mass., in 1986 from Klamath Falls, Ore., to raise her youngest son. She worked at Spartan Saw before retiring to pursue her passions for quilting and spoiling her numerous grandchildren. A quote by Mother Teresa helps describe the love and devotion she had for her family. “It is not how much we do, but how much love we put in the doing. It is not how much we give, but how much love we put in the giving.” She is survived by her siblings, Hope Cunningham, George Currier and James Currier; her five sons, James, Paul, Richard, Ryan and William Moro; her 10 grandchildren, Shannon, Shane, Brittanie, Jessica, Ethan, Pamella, Bethany, Emily, Garion and Logan Moro. A private memorial service will be held for family and friends 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, at Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Faye Moro’s name to the Children’s Miracle Network, Baystate Children’s Hospital, 759 Chestnut St., Springfield, MA 01199.
