CARIBOU – Florence Ford, 74, died Friday, Feb. 9, 2007, at her residence. She was born Sept. 8, 1932, in Orpington-Kent, England, the daughter of John and Clara (Goodrum) Carr. She is survived by her husband, Randolph S. Ford; eight children, 12 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Beatrice Balster of England. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, at Lancaster-Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover St., Caribou, with Elder Walt Elliot officiating. A reception will be after at the Caribou VFW. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that those who wish may make donations to the American Cancer Society, New England Division, Inc., One Main St., Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086.
