WATERVILLE and VEAZIE Florence M. Inman, 70, died Nov. 17, 2003, at a Waterville hospital. She was born in Princeton, March 23, 1933, the daughter of Neil and Cordelia (Norton) McCannell. Florence and her husband, Charles left Maine in 1954. Her husband’s work as an engineer for Texaco Oil and Transco Oil Companies took them all over the U.S. from New Jersey to Texas in the 1960s and 70s to California in the 1980s. They retired in 1991 and returned to Maine, settling in Waterville. She is survived by one son, Michael Inman of Waterville; three daughters, Laurie Lee and her husband, Steve of Colorado, Karen Inman and her partner, Tracy Schumacher of California, Ruth Lachapelle and her husband, Donald, of Waterville; one sister, Ruth McCannell of Grand Lake Stream; three brothers, Dea McCannell and his wife, Dot of Lewiston, Jackie McCannell of Calais and Edgar McCannell of Virginia; four grandchildren, Stephanie, Katherine, Kiel, and Gavin. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Inman; brothers, Oscar, Bill, Norton and Donny; sisters, Joyce and Marilyn. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, 2003, at the Greenlawn Memorial Funeral Home, 300 State St., Bangor.
