MEDWAY – Florence Marie Daisey, 60, died Tuesday, May 1, 2007, in Glendale, Ariz., after a long illness. She was born Sept. 1, 1946, in Van Buren, the daughter of Abel and Lorraine Thibodeau-Martin. Florence will be missed by her friends and family. She lived her life the way she wanted to. Florence was a self-employed businesswoman who loved hunting, fly-fishing, and flying. She was a licensed aviator and held a Class A driver’s license. Florence liked to play slots at Foxwoods and Atlantic City, and enjoyed playing Beano with her friends. She is survived by her sons, George R. Daisey and spouse, Tricia, of Gray, and James W. “Buddy” Daisey and significant other, Loretta Lynch, of Millinocket; her estranged spouse, James A. Daisey; four grandchildren, twins, Hayden J.P. and Marina Daisey, Ethan D.G. Daisey, all of Gray, and Kaitlyn M. Daisey of Millinocket; stepgrandchildren, Ashley, Cara, Kelsey, and Sarah Radley of Gray; three sisters, Teresa Brady of Sun City, Ariz., Anne Newbury of Millinocket, Rita McManus and her husband, Tom, of Ormond Beach, Fla., and Joanne Hartford and her husband, Fred, of Lowell; four brothers, James Martin and his wife, Linda, of Millinocket, Claude Martin and his wife, Cecile, of Millinocket, Roger Martin and his wife, Barbara, of Tacoma, Wash., and Ronald Martin and his wife, Pamela, of Medway; eight sisters-in-law, Mary Maragus and her husband, John, of Millinocket, Ginny Hasting of Gorham, N.H., Carol Daisey of Millinocket, Janice McQuade and her husband, Ralph, of Wellesley, Mass., Harriet Daisey of Millinocket, Patricia McAvoy of Millinocket, Marjorie Noyes and her husband, Jim, of Pinellas Park, Fla., and Charlotte Bernier and her husband, Carlton, of Millinocket; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Florence will also be missed by her dearest friend, Mary Boynton. Funeral services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are by Bouchard-Lamson Funeral Home, Millinocket.
