MONROE – Forest A. Dunham, 93, died July 14, 2008, in Belfast. He was born Jan. 4, 1915, in Brooklin, son of Arthur and Ethel (Tyler) Dunham. He served in World War II in the Japanese Theater from 1943 to 1946, and was a member of the VFW and American Legion. Forest was an automotive mechanic for most of his life, but was a man of many talents. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Esther, who passed away in 1986; and his brothers and sisters. Survivors include his two sons, Richard Dunham of Browns Mills, N.J., and Robert Dunham of Walworth, N.Y.; five grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 17, at Kenney Cemetery, Brooks. Those who wish may make donations in Forest’s memory to Beacon Hospice, 304 Hancock St., Suite 3-A, Bangor, ME 04401. Arrangements under the care of Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast.
