JONESPORT – Frances E. Carver, 83, passed away May 27, 2007, at Sunrise Healthcare Facility, Jonesport. She was born Aug. 13, 1923, in Jonesport, the daughter of the late Glenn and Vinalene (Stinson) Carver. Frances graduated from Jonesport High School, Class of 1940 and worked as bookkeeper for R.H. Rogers store for many years. She served as secretary – treasurer of Greenwood Cemetery Society and Jonesport High School Alumni Association for several years. Frances is survived by her brother, Dale Carver and wife, Nancy, of Harrington; her nephews, Alton “Billy” Campbell and Paul Campbell, both of Jonesport, Mark Faulkner and wife, Kathy, of Columbia Falls and Adam Faulkner of Bangor; her brother-in-law, Richard “Moe” Faulkner of Florida; and other nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be missed by her Beano playing friends and other special friends too numerous to name. She was predeceased by her lifelong companion, Edward Lavery. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 1, at Greenwood Cemetery officiated by Pastor George Woodward.
