ABBOT – Frances G. Peters, 71, wife of the late Harold Rodney Peters, died Nov. 14, 2004, in Abbot, where she made her home with her granddaughter, Wendy and Fred Erving. She was born April 9, 1933, in Prentiss, the daughter of Algie and Hazel (Bubar) Golding. Frances loved church and reading her Bible. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Woodie Sherwood; two sons and their wives, Harold Rodney Peters Jr., and Cheryl of Bradford, and Patrick Peters and Jane of Lagrange; two brothers, Fred Golding of Ohio and Lewis Golding of Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, at the home of Wendy and Fred Erving, 48 Davidson Road, Abbot, and 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, at the Guilford Assembly of God, High Street, Guilford. Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday at the Guilford Assembly of God, with the Rev. Joseph Gioia officiating. Interment will be in Maxfield Cemetery.
