BAR HARBOR – Frances M. Carter, 83, died Dec. 6, 2006, at a Bar Harbor hospital. She was born Oct. 7, 1923, in Bar Harbor, the daughter of Oscar F. and Florence (Pierce) Carter. She lived in Sonogee Rehab & Living Center, which was a happy time for her, where she made many special friends. She is survived by a son, Tommy E. Crossman of Ellsworth; many nieces and nephews including, G. Jeanie Blenkhorn, Doreen Fuller, Brenda Murray and Sharon Barker; a special nephew, Eddie Pollack of Ellsworth; and great-nephew, Russell Blenkhorn Jr. She was predeceased by one brother, Perl; and two sisters, Elsie and Doreen. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 11, at Birch Grove Cemetery, Bucksport Road, Ellsworth. Arrangements by Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth.
