BANCROFT – F. Madella Ryan, 78, died March 29, 2007, at a Houlton hospital. She was born June 22, 1928, in Mount Desert Island, the daughter of Adeline Stanley. She was a member of the Grange in Houlton and Deer Isle. Madella liked to fish for mackerel. She is survived by her husband, John Ryan Jr. of Bancroft; two daughters, Wilma of Nevada and Lois of Florida; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be announced in Monday’s edition of the Bangor Daily News. Those who wish may donate to the Houlton Grange.
