FRAMINGHAM, Mass. -Frances Putnam York, 84, died early Wednesday morning, July 26, 2006, at Metrowest Medical Center, Framingham, Mass. She was born in Eaton, the daughter of the late Convers and Amanda (Neil) Kinney. She was the wife of the late Mavard B. York, who passed away in March of 1984. A 44-year resident of Framingham, Mass. and formerly of Mars Hill, she was a member of the Celebration International Church, Wayland, Mass. She is survived by a daughter, Iris J. Pelley of Rumford, R.I.; two sons, Burrell M. York of North Hampton, N.H. and Kevin C. York of Marston Mills, Mass.; one brother, Clinton Kinney of Eaton; one sister, Elizabeth Shaw of Mars Hill; two grandchildren, Laura Pelley and Eric York. Visitation will be held 1-2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 30, at the Celebration International Church, 6 Loker St., Wayland, Mass., where a funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. A reception will be after the service in the church. Burial will be held Monday at Evergreen Cemetery, Hopkinton, Mass. Flowers may be sent directly to the church or donations may be made to Frontline Ministries, 436 Pawtucket Ave., Rumford, RI 02916.
