BAILEYVILLE – Frank A. Saunders, of Baileyville, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004, surrounded by family and friends at Calais Regional Hospital. He looked forward to fall to plan his trips to Jackman to go hunting with family and friends. He also hosted many gatherings at his camp. Many trips with grandchildren were made up and down the river. He took great pride in feeding people and showing them a good time. He was a man with a big heart. Frank is predeceased by parents, Grant and Addie Saunders; and his wife, Phyllis. He is survived by two daughters and their families, Heidi and Mike Bungay of Fredericton, N.B., and Crystal and Andy Wilson of Fredericton, N.B.; a proud Papa to Haley and Hilary Bungay and MacKenzie Wilson; three stepdaughters and a stepson and their families, Linda and Wade Lola, Dawn and Robert Dow, Martha and Mark Foster, and Russell Fitch; four sisters and their families, Janice and Emerson Cilley, Bev Ann Foss, Carol and John Stevens, Brenda and Jerry Poulin, and Tammy and Jeff Colvin; many nieces and nephews. Also survived by his side kick, his dog Killer. Relatives and friends may call, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Scott-Wilson Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Calais. Funeral services will be held, 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home with the Pastor Bob Hinton officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery, Baileyville.
