FRANK A. WILLIAMS ORONO – Frank A. Williams, 57, died Tuesday evening, March 28, 2006, at his home in Orono. He was born Aug. 5, 1948, in Old Town, the son of the late Angelo and Kathleen (Kaye) Williams. He studied electrical engineering and German literature at the University of Maine in Orono. He went on to open an art and framing store in downtown Orono, and recently followed that with the opening of a blues cafe and restaurant, also in Orono. Warm sunshine, good coffee and crosswords were his simple pleasures. He is survived by two sons, Jason Williams, and wife, Nichole, of Boulder, Colo., and Derek Williams, of Orono. He is also survived by ex-wife, Carol Williams; three brothers, Byron, Robert, and Charles; and one sister, Kamilla. A celebration of life will be held 5 p.m. Sunday, April 2, at The Blues Cafe, 27 Mill St., Orono. Family and friends are welcome.
