TIMOTHY JOHN WEISS ARGYLE and YALE, Mich. Timothy John Weiss, 39, passed away March 17, 2006, as the result of a tragic car accident. He was born Feb. 17, 1967, to Ronald and Carol Weiss of Yale, Mich. John worked as a master tile setter and marble mason for many years, making it his lifelong profession and passion using his ever-creative mind to make many original masterpieces. John loved his family and friends and will be remembered for his vivacious energy and never-ending loyalty to those he loved. Although he was not able to join the service, he cherished the American flag and what it stood for. You could always see one flying full mast at his home in Argyle. He liked spending time with family, friends and dog, Colonel, cutting wood, refinishing antiques and watching an eagle soar across the sky, appreciating it’s beauty and freedom. Although he only went to sixth grade in school, John continually challenged himself with learning, reading everything he could get his hands on. He was predeceased by his parents. John is survived by his sister, Angela Weiss Howard and husband, Nat and children; maternal grandmother, Ceile Guyer, all of Naples Fla.; also survived by his partner and best friend of nearly 19 years, Joel W. Merrill of Argyle; Joan Merrill of Alton, whom he affectionately called “Mom”; Susie and George Collins of Enfield; Cam, Diane, Brenda Sue, CJ Currier and Harry Vose all of Greenbush; Brett Weymouth of Howland, Jim, Merla and Jen Roy of Alton, Tom, Wendy, and Travis Webb; Matt Ward, Mike Collins, all of North Carolina; Jason, Marcey, Brendan and Ian McIntyre of Hampden; Mark, Nykie and Braiden Nadeau of Milford; Erika Nadeau of Maryland; Andy Roy of Texas; his special friends at Harris’s store, Angela and Kelly. After a life of hard times, John is finally at peace. Services will be private.
