PRESQUE ISLE – Ulyses Frank Caron, 53, died Saturday afternoon Jan. 14, 2006, at the Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born Aug. 27, 1952, at Caribou, the son of Walter and Antoinette (Jalbert) Caron. He was a loving husband and father. He and his wife Carol had 35 years of marriage together. Frank loved to fish, work on his cars and enjoyed playing bingo. He was employed most of his life as a truck driver and drove for Johnston’s Paving Service of Caribou in the 1980’s. Frank was a “Jack of all trades.” He is survived by his wife, Carol (Lovely) Caron of Presque Isle; two sons, Jason and his wife, Shirley, of Presque Isle, Richard “Rick” of Caribou; two grandsons, Bryson and Brandon of Presque Isle; five brothers, Norman Caron of Caribou, Lionel of North East, Pa., Ernest “Ernie” of Presque Isle, James of Orlando, Fla., and Albert of South Korea; three sisters, Shirley Bishop and Linda Lahey, both of Caribou, and Dolly LaRocque of Bourbonnais, Ill., several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call 7-9 p.m. Monday at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Main Street, Presque Isle with the Rev. Jean Paul LaBrie officiating.
