HODGDON – Frank E. Blackie, 70, died Oct. 20, 2006, at a Bangor health facility. He was born Feb. 21, 1936, in Houlton, the son of Dale and Willa (Stockford) Blackie. Frank attended Hodgdon schools and was a 1954 graduate of Hodgdon High School. After high school Frank joined the U.S. Marine Corp for four years and then worked in television repair in both Houlton and Troy. He is survived by one daughter, Amy Silliboy and her husband, Rick and their three children of Bearcreek, Pa.; two brothers, James Blackie and his wife, Donalene, of Hodgdon and Dale Blackie and his wife, Althea, of Scarborough; and one sister, Josephine Blackie Hand of Hodgdon, several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Hodgdon Cemetery with the Rev. Marilyn Rohdin officiating. A service of Dunn Funeral Home, Houlton.
