SEARSPORT – Frank E. Moody, 77, died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. Born Nov. 1, 1931, he was the son of George and Ida (Niles) Moody of Thorndike. Frank loved to fish and listen to the police scanner; he also enjoyed game shows on television. He spent most of his working life as truck driver, driving for several chicken com-panies, as well as construction. In addition to his parents, Frank was predeceased by one stepson, Ricky Clark. He is survived by his children, George K. Moody and his wife, Brenda, of Chelsea, Timothy F. Moody and his wife, Susan, Cynthia E. Moody and her boyfriend, Bruce Seekins, all of Belfast and Patricia A. Reed and her husband, Donald, of Searsport; two stepsons, Gerald Clark and his wife, June, of Belfast and Ronald Sorrells and his girlfriend, Elaine Farrington, of Alabama; one stepdaughter, Pamela Dodge and her husband, John, of Morrill; several grandchildren and great-grand-children. Frank is also survived by the mother of his children, Barbara Moody of Belfast; and his companion, Mary Ann Sprague of Searsport. Friends and family will gather for visitation 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, until the time of the service 1 p.m. at Belfast United Methodist Church, Mill Lane, Belfast. Interment will be in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to help defray the cost of funeral services may be made to George Moody, 15 Quail Run, Chelsea, ME 04330.
