MADAWASKA – Lionel “Pitou” Cyr, 66, died Dec. 14, 2007, at a Fort Kent hospital. He was born May 5, 1941, in Madawaska, the son of Donat and Josephine (Michaud) Cyr. He is survived by two brothers, Roland Cyr of Plymouth, Conn., and Robert Cyr of Madawaska; four sisters, Lorraine Barfield, Jackie Ferral, Angela St. Jarre, all of Madawaska and Helena Pelletier of Meriden, Conn.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Madawaska. Friends and relatives may call at the church 9 a.m. Thursday until time of services. Interment will be at the parish cemetery.
