CARIBOU – Frank E. Smith, 59, died April 27, 2004, at Caribou. He was born March 30, 1945, in Ludlow, the son of Harry and Ada (McKinney) Smith. Mr. Smith was employed by Potato Service for a number of years and was more recently employed for many years as the maintenance man for the Presque Isle and Caribou McDonalds. He is survived by his longtime companion, Barbara Duplessie of Caribou; five sons, Kenneth Smith of Houlton, Joseph Smith, James Smith and Harry Smith, all of Rockland, and Steve Smith of Waterville; one sister, Rosemary York of Presque Isle; three granddaughters. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2004, at the Chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
