SKOWHEGAN – Reginald O. Worcester, 64, formerly of Pittsfield, died April 27, 2004. He was born May 3, 1939, in Prentiss, a son of Ollie O. and Frances M. (Monroe) Worcester. He was educated in the schools of Lee and Prentice. He married Dorothy Coates, Jan. 1, 1984, in Oakland. Reginald worked as a trucker most of his life for Coles Express; Pottles and Chaffee, retiring in 2002. He was a member of the Forrest Masonic Lodge No. 148 AF&AM of Springfield, and held the position as secretary for a couple of years. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, watching the New York Yankees and also watching the NASCAR racing. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy E. Worcester of Skowhegan; a son, Kent Worcester and his wife, Paula, of Waite; two daughters, Crystal and her husband, Jay Jones, of Sierra Vista, Ariz., Janel Worcester and friend, Dan, of Levant; a stepson, Gene Burgess of Skowhegan; stepdaughters, Anita and her husband, Tom Cruise, of Skowhegan, Dawn and her husband, Wayne Goodrow, of Pittsfield; a sister, Betty Faulkner and her fianc‚, Simon Busque, of Pittsfield; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister, Bernice “NeNi” Averill. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2004, at the P.A.C.E. Banquette Hall, Waterville Road, Skowhegan.
