HOULTON, and SOUTHINGTON, Conn. – Frank Russell Steeves died Tuesday, March 7, 2006, after a long illness. He was born in December 1924, in New Limerick. After service to the U.S. Army in World War II he moved to Connecticut to raise his family and work for General Motors New Departure/Hyatt. He retired from New Departure in 1987. He is survived by his wife, Anne Rebecca Carpenter Steeves; his three sons, Larry, Dean and Jay; two daughters, Diane and Gay. He was pre-deceased by a daughter, Linda. He is also survived by a brother, John Steeves of Houlton. Visiting hours will be 9 a.m. Saturday, March 11, until time of the service to be held 10:30 a.m., at the Plantsville Memorial Funeral Home, Plantsville, Conn. Burial with military honors will follow.
