HARTLAND – Gabriel Kenneth Coots passed away Nov. 27, 2007, at Maine Medical Center, Portland. Gabriel was born Nov. 13, 2007, in Portland, son of Shawn and Betsy Coots. Though his time on Earth was short, he will always be remembered by his loving parents and family. He is survived by his parents; his sister, Mia; his maternal grandparents, Hadley and Ella Buker; his paternal grandmother, Belinda Coots; his maternal great-grandmother, Charlotte Temple; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Kenneth Coots. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, at Shorey-Nichols Funeral Home, 191 Hartland Ave., Pittsfield, with Chaplain (LTC) Andrew Gibson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gabriel’s memory to the Ronald McDonald House, 250 Brackett St., Portland, ME 04102.
