PRESQUE ISLE and WASHBURN – Garold D. Doak Sr., 64, died Dec. 19, 2005, at Presque Isle. He was born March 23, 1941, in Washburn, the son of Elmer and Roberta (Bagley) Doak. He was a graduate of the Washburn High School. Garold is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Garold D. and Rhonda Doak Jr. of Glengary Victoria, Australia; two brothers, Richard Doak and his wife, Barbara, of Washburn and Robert Doak and his wife, Carol, of Gainesville, Fla.; one sister, Amelia Fike of Hampton, Va.; two stepsons, Billy Harris and his wife, Cheryl, of Haverhill, Mass. and David Harris and his wife, Ursula, of Cheshire, Conn.; two stepdaughters, Diane Foster and her husband, Greg and Gail Harris, both of Presque Isle; five grandchildren, Jacy, Cameron, Dannica, Marianda and Rhyse and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his long time companion, Marion Harris. Friends may call 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou, until time of funeral services, which will be held 7 p.m. from the chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home.
