ELLSWORTH – Garold W. Moore, 102, died Dec. 13, 2003, at Collier’s Rehab and Nursing Home. He was born Nov. 30, 1901, along with his twin brother, Harold A. Moore, now deceased, the sons of Lorenzo D. and Carrie E. (Wentworth) Moore. Garold is survived by a daughter, Janice Mitchell; a special nephew, Robert Lakin; sister, Ruth M. Lakin; stepchildren, Elmer Maddocks Jr., Raymond Maddocks and Rachel Davis; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers and sisters, Gertrude Buchanan, Forest Moore, Frank Severance, Addie Sargent and Myrtle Robbins. Special people in his life were Richard and Peggy Door; at Colliers, Jeannie Magoon, “Sarge” Carlene Gray as well as all the other staff and friends. Graveside services will be held in the spring at Woodbine Cemetery. The family suggests that if friends desire they make contributions in Garold’s memory to The Ellsworth Falls Congregational Church, P.O. Box 997, Ellsworth, ME 04605.
