GLENBURN – Gary Lee Johnson, 48, died April 15, 2007, at a Bangor hospital, after a long illness. He was born Dec. 7, 1958, in Searsport, a son of Fred A. and Elaine J. (Ashey) Johnson Jr. Gary graduated from Bangor High School. He was a self-employed flooring installer and owned, I Cover all Floors. He will be remembered as an avid sportsman who enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing and motorcycling. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Elaine and Frederick Street of Milford; two sons, Gary L. Johnson II and Garrett M. Johnson, both of Old Town; two brothers, Wayne Johnson of Glenburn and Blaine Harvey and wife, Carol, of Hampden; one sister, Gina Sargent of Prospect, several nieces and nephews. He will be remembered by special friends, the Campbell family of Glenburn, Ralph and Lori Treadwell of Glenburn, Dan Gunther of Hampden and Kevin Landry of Glenburn. Friends may visit with the family 7-8 p.m. Thursday at Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor. A committal service will be held later in the spring.
