PRESQUE ISLE and CARIBOU – Gary Lee Fox, 70, died Nov. 25, 2006, at his Presque Isle residence. He was born Oct. 24, 1936, in Portage, the son of Allen and Myra (Drake) Fox. He served with the U.S. Army National Guard for a number of years and was a mechanic for area garages for many years. Gary was a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He is survived by a son, Alan Fox of Rockville, Conn.; two daughters, Gaylene Charette of East Hartford, Conn., and Charlene Fox of Brunswick; two brothers, Nelson Fox of Columbus, Ohio, and Arnold Fox of Newport; four sisters, Carol Michaud of Presque Isle, Judith Fox of Bangor, Leatrice Nadeau and Novella Bourgoine, both of El Cajon, Calif.; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends may call noon Wednesday, Nov. 29, until time of services at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Services will be held 1 p.m. from the chapel of the funeral home with the Very Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie, pastor of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, officiating. Interment, with military services, will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Caribou.
