FORT KENT – Geneva M. (Levesseur) Gervais, 65, began her journey home after a long illness on June 10, 2004, at a Fort Kent healthcare facility. She was born Sept. 18, 1938, in Fort Kent, the daughter of Emile and Rose M. (Pinette) Levesseur. Geneva loved to read and play cards, but most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne of Fort Kent. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Sylva Gervais of Fort Kent; four daughters, Barbara St. Pierre and her husband, Gilles of Presque Isle, Betty Dubois and her husband, Charles, of Lisbon, and Tammy Beaulieu and her husband, Danny, of St. David; one son, Peter Gervais and his wife, Cynthia, of Fort Kent; two brothers, Emile Jr. of Berlin, Conn., and Carroll of Dixson, Tenn.; six sisters, Joan Plourde of Fort Kent, Pauline Ouellette of Smyrna, Del., Arlene Belanger of Fort Kent, Madeline Michaud of Calhoun, Ga., Mary DaCruz of Danbury, Conn., and Judie Levesseur of Fort Kent; seven grandchildren, Nicole, Adam, Joshua, Andrew, Brittney, Madison and Xander on the way; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday until time of services at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent, with the Rev. Claude Gendreau officiating. Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery.
