PLAINVILLE, Mass. and PRINCETON – Genevieve M. Breen, 92, of Taunton Street, Wrentham and a longtime Plainville resident, died on Saturday, July 3, 2004, at the Maples Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wrentham. She was the wife of the late Charles J. “Bud” Breen. Born in April 1, 1912, in Princeton, she was a daughter of the late Sanborn and Vieve (Fenlason) McDowell. She was a graduate of the Princeton High School, and the University of Maine at Machias, at a time when the college was part of the Normal School. A homemaker, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting and working on a good crossword puzzle. A member of the Plainville United Methodist Church, she also belonged to the Angle Stone Chapter Order of the Eastern Star in North Attleboro. She is survived by one son, Allen S. Breen of Plainville; one daughter, Louise Carlson of Norfolk; two grandsons; one great-grandson; one great-granddaughter; and four nephews. She was sister of the late Muriel Cole and Mildren Mushroe. A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday at a time convenient to the family, in the Plainville Cemetery. The Rev. Harold Crowell will officiate. Arrangements are in the care of the RJ Ross Funeral Home, 135 South St., Wrentham Centre.
