HARRINGTON – Genevieve R. Caler, 85, went to be with her Lord and Savior, and her beloved husband, Gene, Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at Sunrise Care Facility, Jonesport, where she was a resident for the past five years. She was born June 21, 1922, in Jones-port, the daughter of the late Isaac and Jannie Seavey. Mrs. Caler was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who enjoyed baking sugar cookies and molasses cookies for her family. She always kept a special place in her heart for her grandson, Forrest Woodrow Pinkham Caler. She also was fortunate to be able to spend time with her great-grand-daughter, Breonna Skylynn Caler and her mother, Kimberly Nason. She shared 45 years of marriage with the late, Eugene Wilford Caler Sr., who died in 1996. Family members include her children, Robert Caler, Delbert Caler and his wife, Kathy, Jannie Caler, and Eugene W. Caler Jr., all of Harrington; a grandson, Forrest Woodrow Pinkham Caler and fiancee, Kimberly Nason; a great-granddaughter, Breonna Skylynn Caler of Harrington; many nieces, nephews, and close friends and neighbors. She was predeceased by a brother, Hiram; and a sister, Edith. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 24, at Greenwood Cemetery, Jones-port, with Pastor George Wood-ward officiating.
